Job Summary
You will manage travel-related tasks including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination, and customer support to ensure smooth travel experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hotel reservation and sales teams to confirm room pricing and availability, ensuring accurate and timely communication to support guest bookings
- Monitor hotel payment deadlines and verify completion of all payments before guest arrival to maintain operational efficiency
- Manage attraction ticket inventory by checking availability and making reservations or bookings as required to support guest itineraries
- Coordinate with tour guides by briefing them on work orders and confirming their availability for assigned itineraries to ensure seamless tour execution
- Liaise with transport companies to verify availability and book transport services aligned with tour itineraries, optimizing guest travel logistics
- Issue payment vouchers and verify claims from tour guides and drivers before preparing payments to maintain financial accuracy
- Prepare and distribute tourist or visitor information, including feedback forms, hotel details, and attraction information to enhance guest experience
- Oversee daily operations of the Reservations Department to ensure smooth workflow and high service standards
- Communicate and provide information with overseas vendors and clientele on itinerary requirements to support coordinated travel services
- Handle special guest requests and assign rooms accordingly to meet individual needs and preferences
- Resolve booking issues or discrepancies professionally to maintain guest satisfaction and operational integrity
- Manage group bookings by coordinating with the Sales Manager to ensure smooth and efficient group reservation processes
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support department objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum O Levels, NITEC, or a Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management
- Experience using Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or travel agency roles
- Knowledge of Free Independent Traveler (FIT), Group, and MICE travel trends
- Proficiency in Chinese language to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and enhance service inclusivity
