Job Description

We are looking for a Cruise Specialist to provide a smooth travel booking experience for our retail customers. The Travel Consultant will be part of our Cruise Arena team.

This role involves promoting a variety of cruise lines (Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line and more) and associated sailings (FIT and groups) via multiple channels (email, text messages, and phone). You will leverage on our extensive industry partnerships and comprehensive product offerings to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Convert enquiries into bookings, by matching customer preferences to ideal cruise experiences, and handling end-to-end cruise arrangements. This may include shore excursions, pre- and post-sailing hotel stays, and transfers.
• Provide insightful travel advice and recommendations.
• Manage after-sales enquiries, including booking modification(s).
• Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with the customer.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of featured cruise lines, ships, sailings and promotional offers.
• Design innovative cruise products through strategic collaboration with cruise line partners.
• Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Experience making cruise bookings using systems like Polar Online, Espresso, etc.
• The ability to book other travel products including hotels, car transfer and rail would be good (through a GDS, Expedia TAAP, etc).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for effective customer communication.
• Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive team player with good communications skills.
