Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Dispatch: Planning and scheduling deliveries, assigning routes to drivers, and managing dispatch operations.
- Fleet Management: Monitoring vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing fleet assets.
- Driver Management: Supervising and training drivers, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to transportation laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Problem-solving: Addressing delays, discrepancies, and other operational issues that may arise during delivery operations.
- Communication: Maintaining communication with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years of supervisory experience in logistic
- Continuous improvement mindset, independent and self-motivated individual
- Able to work under stress, flexible and adaptive to change, dynamic and pragmatic
