Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for the global transport stream, aligning it with Decathlon's overall goals (sustainability, performance, agility).

Organise the global alignment with all business units and countries to set the right transport directives on each stream.

Anticipate global market trends and supply chain evolution to propose and pilot innovative solutions.

Contribute and deploy a portfolio of projects and manage the network of experts and executives across the stream.

Facilitate complex decision-making processes and manage risk escalation within the stream.

Ensure the stream's design and implementation meets defined performance objectives

Drive organizational transformation by identifying needs for evolution and implementing necessary changes.

Identify and implement initiatives that reduce the environmental impact of transport activities.

RESPONSIBILITY 3:

Drive stream performance through operational excellence, carrier portfolio management, and economic optimization

• Lead the relationship with the most critical transport carriers for the stream, in close collaboration with the central Indirect Purchases BU.

• Outline and optimize framework agreements to secure freight flows and guarantee economic performance.

• Master and drive the economic and operational challenges of global transport procurement and service contract negotiation.

• Guarantee the application of standards and facilitate the exchange of best practices across the stream.

• Oversee the transport stream's overall performance, ensuring alignment with service and cost targets.

• Ensure the deployment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of transport stream initiatives and practices.

Promote and integrate sustainability practices within transport operations, aligning with Decathlon's commitment to environmental responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITY 4:

Ensure the endurance, evolution, and operational resilience of the stream

Oversee the performance of the transport stream, ensuring all standards are met.

Ensure a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is defined and implemented to respond to major unforeseen events.

Guarantee service continuity for our customers under all operating conditions.

Ensure all transport operations adhere to People Safety Policy, legal and regulatory compliance.

Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations Performance Managers, Process Owner, Cluster Managers) to ensure synergy and problem resolution.

Nourish continuous improvement mindset and innovation-drive to constantly raise the quality bar for the stream.

Prerequisite advice for the job:

• Experience: proficiency in supply chain management, with a focus on Logistics & Transport global procurement & operations management, software, TMS tools.

Specific knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Fluent in English additional languages are an advantage.
