Strategic Route Planning: Design and optimize daily delivery routes and vehicle schedules using manual logic and automated routing tools to minimize mileage and fuel consumption.
Resource Allocation: Assign riders and drivers based on load capacity, delivery windows, and driver hours to ensure balanced workloads.
TMS Optimization: Expertly utilize the Transport Management System (TMS) to sequence drops, track real-time progress, and adjust routes dynamically in response to traffic or delays.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as On-Time Delivery rates and Cost-per-Drop, providing actionable insights to the Assistant Operations Manager.
Action Plan Support: Support the execution of operational strategies to improve delivery turnaround times and meet month-on-month growth objectives.
End-of-Day Reconciliation: Monitor the completion status of all planned jobs and perform a rigorous end-of-day audit to account for any failed or rescheduled deliveries.
Continuous Improvement: Support the Ops Management in identifying bottleneck areas in the current distribution network and proposing rerouting solutions.
Compliance & Licensing: Ensure all planned routes adhere to local traffic regulations and safety standards. (Holding a valid Class 2B/3 license is highly preferred to understand ground-level route challenges).
