Job Description

We are hiring a Logistics Planner / Coordinator to support daily transport and delivery operations for an established organisation in the manufacturing and logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and optimise delivery routes for a fleet of lorry cranes and smaller delivery vehicles to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Coordinate and monitor daily logistics activities to support timely and smooth delivery execution
  • Track route efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce delays, improve productivity, and optimise operational costs
  • Work closely with drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of deliveries and logistics support
  • Respond promptly to operational issues and implement corrective actions where required
  • Maintain accurate logistics records, job scheduling documentation, transport records, and compliance-related filings
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties on operational documentation, billing coordination, and regulatory matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics planning, transport coordination, or supply chain operations, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across different teams
