TRANSPORT CONTROLLER

Job Responsibilities

. Planning and arranging daily delivery schedule / Traffic deployment

. Ensure safe, efficient and reliable services are provided at all times

. Handling documentation, admin duties, transportation.

. Responsible for route analysis to optimize delivery successful rate and efficiency in collection/return from.to yard, collection/delivery to customers & sending in/out of Port

. Coordinate and mobilize the relevant vendor and internal staff to resolve hiccups & urgent requests in the services (e.g. unexpected events of traffic jam, tire puncture etc.)

. Plan and schedule daily jobs based on delivery priorities through our system

. Track driver movement through GPS to ensure the most efficient deployment of drivers

. Process pre-gate (Port) and book yard timing via CMS ( Container Management System)

. Assist HR in verifying of driver's job and trip claimed

. Coordinate with warehouse team on (un)stuffing activities & shifting of containers

. Any ad-hoc task as assigned by Manager

Job Requirement

. Reasonable knowledge of Singapore Roads, Yard & Port operations

. Clear minded & adaptable to changing needs

. Orderly in terms of administrative work ( record keeping)

. Good organizations skills

. Ability to work under least supervision and handle multi-tasks

. Able to deal with broad range of challenges

. Knowledge of PSA Port Net & port rebates
