A leading 3PL logistics company is looking for a Freight and Forwarding Assistant to:
Job Description:
- Coordinate the shipping documents and instruction from customer
- Preparation of HBL & MBL
- Monitoring of vessel movement, finalize the release of HBL to customer
- Sending pre-alert documents to destination office
- Coordinate with transport contractor to pick up empty container
- Coordinate with warehouse for stuffing of container
- Verifying contractor invoice and billing to customer
- Other routine shipment related coordination and documentations
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least an O level/Professional Certificate/NiTEC
- Computer literate
- Preferably with some basic understanding of NVO operation and documentation
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred in a Warehouse/Logistic industry
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently
- Attentive to details and good coordination skills
- Must be willing to work in Pioneer area
- Able to commit to overtime as and when required
