Role Summary:
OceanX Education is seeking a temporary Transit Program Coordinator to serve as the operational lead responsible for the end-to-end sourcing, onboarding, and transit logistics management of participants and faculty members across OceanX Education transit programs onboard the OceanXplorer.
This role oversees the full lifecycle of approximately 100 participants annually, including pipeline development, administrative onboarding, travel coordination, compliance documentation, and post-transit tracking and evaluation.
The ideal candidate combines strong logistics execution with process ownership, ensuring seamless participant movement, full compliance readiness, and accurate system tracking. This role works closely with internal stakeholders including programming, missions, and operations teams to deliver efficient and well-coordinated transit experiences.
This is an operational role focused on logistics, systems, and execution, rather than community engagement events with a focus on operational excellence that supports OceanX Education's educational and engagement goals.
OceanX Education pursues its mission through a consultative, founder-partnered approach, shaping programs that align with the founder's vision while achieving strategic and meaningful outcomes.
