Role Summary:

OceanX Education is seeking a temporary Transit Program Coordinator to serve as the operational lead responsible for the end-to-end sourcing, onboarding, and transit logistics management of participants and faculty members across OceanX Education transit programs onboard the OceanXplorer.

This role oversees the full lifecycle of approximately 100 participants annually, including pipeline development, administrative onboarding, travel coordination, compliance documentation, and post-transit tracking and evaluation.

The ideal candidate combines strong logistics execution with process ownership, ensuring seamless participant movement, full compliance readiness, and accurate system tracking. This role works closely with internal stakeholders including programming, missions, and operations teams to deliver efficient and well-coordinated transit experiences.

This is an operational role focused on logistics, systems, and execution, rather than community engagement events with a focus on operational excellence that supports OceanX Education's educational and engagement goals.

OceanX Education pursues its mission through a consultative, founder-partnered approach, shaping programs that align with the founder's vision while achieving strategic and meaningful outcomes.

Singapore (Hybrid; 2 days per week in office)

Employment Type:

Temporary, 12-month engagement

What You'll Do:

  • Lead year-round sourcing and onboarding of participants and faculty across science, education, storytelling, digital art, and immersive media
  • Manage travel and transit logistics, including scheduling, bookings, communications, and embarkation/disembarkation coordination
  • Oversee compliance and documentation (passports, visas, insurance, agreements) and maintain organized program records
  • Track budgets, monitor expenses, and report on program outcomes
  • Maintain a structured tracking system for data, logistics, and reporting (Notion or similar)
  • Collaborate across Programming, Missions, Business Operations, and Executive leadership
  • Escalate risks and manage multiple program timelines with accuracy and accountability
  • Travel regionally or to the vessel and work flexible hours to support cross-time zone operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Event Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or program management
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end logistics, budgets, and compliance processes
  • Strong data management skills with CRM or tracking systems (Notion preferred)
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to changing workloads
  • Passion for the ocean and a drive to deliver operational excellence

Compensation:

Compensation for this role is SGD $6,000 per month.
