Transit Experience Associate

The Transit Experience Associate will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for transit passengers at Changi Airport. You will provide exceptional customer service, engage with passengers, and promote our tours and services while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable transit experience.

Working Hours: Weekdays and weekends, on a shift basis (eg. 7:00AM - 2:00PM / 10:00PM - 1:00AM). Shift timings may vary based on project requirements.
Salary: $14 per hour
Location: Changi Airport Transit Terminals

Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Assistance & Escorting

• Provide solutions, relevant information, and product recommendations to transit passengers.
• Escort and assist transit passengers to designated tour assembly points, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Customer Engagement & Sales
• Drive sales through proactive customer engagement, cross-selling, and upselling techniques.
• Proactively communicate ongoing promotions, offers, and product information to customers.

Retail Operations

• Process transactions using the POS system and handle various payment methods efficiently.
• Perform end-of-shift duties, including financial reconciliation and reporting.

Service Coordination

• Assist with bookings, reservations, and transport arrangements as required.
• Support operational needs and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating positive customer experiences.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident in interacting with local and international passengers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-oriented with the ability to promote products and services through cross-selling and upselling.
• Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and basic administrative tasks.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
