About Our Client
Our client is a reputable professional services firm with a strong presence in Singapore, serving a diverse portfolio of local enterprises, multinational corporations, and high-growth businesses. As part of its strategic growth plans, the firm is looking to strengthen its Transfer Pricing practice and is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Tax Manager to join its team.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end preparation and review of high-quality Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD) for a portfolio of corporate clients.
- Proactively manage clients transfer pricing compliance requirements, ensuring all statutory filing obligations, including Form GIR and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), are completed accurately and ahead of regulatory deadlines.
- Provide practical and strategic transfer pricing advice to clients on related party transactions, intercompany pricing policies, and transfer pricing risk management.
- Support internal audit and tax partners by providing technical transfer pricing guidance and insights on client engagements.
- Draft and manage responses to Corporate Income Tax (CIT) queries involving transfer pricing matters and liaise with relevant stakeholders where required.
- Review intercompany agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and internal legal documentation to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies and the arm's length principle.
- Collaborate closely with the tax compliance team to support broader tax engagements and advisory projects.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns during periods of lower transfer pricing activity.
- Participate actively in client meetings, presenting technical recommendations and building trusted client relationships.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the firm's Transfer Pricing service offerings and client base.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as SCTP, CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant transfer pricing experience gained in a professional services firm, accounting practice, or multinational environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore transfer pricing regulations, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and corporate income tax principles.
- Experience preparing transfer pricing documentation, compliance filings, and responding to tax authority queries.
- Familiarity with CbCR, Form GIR requirements, and intercompany agreement reviews would be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a growing and entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
