Transactional Risk Insurance Broker

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Transactional Risk team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Transactional Risk Insurance Broker (AVP) within our Asia team, you will work alongside former M&A lawyers focusing exclusively on warranty & indemnity (W&I) insurance and other M&A-related insurance products. You will be part of the wider Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) Practice in Asia, contributing to risk and insurance advisory services that help clients de-risk transactions and maximize value across the region.

We will count on you to:
. Become an expert on transactional risk insurance solutions, insurers, and related matters.
. Provide advice on availability, appropriateness, market conditions, pricing, terms, and placement strategy for M&A transactions, leveraging your legal and/or in-house experience.
. Execute insurance marketing and placement, including obtaining indicative terms, designing insurance programs, underwriting negotiations, and finalizing placements.
. Support PEMA Asia and Thailand teams in building strong client and advisor relationships to generate new business revenue.
. Develop and maintain relationships with insurers underwriters to secure optimal insurance solutions and underwriting outcomes.
. Participate in business development initiatives such as presentations, workshops, meetings, and industry events.

What you need to have:
. Tertiary qualifications and 4 to 5 years PQE in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department, with at least 2 years in private practice focused on M&A, including legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and client advisory work.
. Strong interpersonal skills including native/professional proficiency in English and Thai, relationship-building, teamwork, empathy, conflict resolution, leadership, and adaptability.
. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects independently under pressure, accountability, integrity, initiative, and professionalism.
. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
