About The Role
Our client is seeking a
Transaction Manager (Contract) to join the Transaction Capture Services team in Singapore. This role will cover maternity leave for 45 months and includes time for training and handover. You will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end lending lifecycle, including loan closing, servicing coordination, client onboarding, and data management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support loan origination and lifecycle management across complex syndicated and bilateral loans (corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, and trade).
- Partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, and legal teams.
- Ensure data quality, process controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Define and implement operational metrics, risk controls, and reviews to ensure transparency across stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, controls, and efficiencies across the loan lifecycle.
- Participate in loan remediation, system testing, and migrations.
- Manage a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.
- Coordinate and close loan lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality control.
- Assess and mitigate risks while safeguarding the firms reputation and ensuring compliance.
About YouKnowledge & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in wholesale loans (syndicated/bilateral), including knowledge of loan documentation, funding mechanics, deal structures, and funds flows.
- Strong understanding of operational processes supporting wholesale lending.
Skills
- High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to multi-task and follow up with multiple stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of corporate and regulatory policies related to lending.
- Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in wholesale loan management.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Competencies
- Keen attention to detail with strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage pipelines, build client relationships, and provide solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Critical decision-making ability, including escalation and solution-finding.
