Key responsibilities:
1. Learning & Development Strategy & Program Execution
- Lead the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop the company-wide training plan.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of all L&D programs (e-learning & classroom).
- Conduct stand-up delivery of selected HR/L&D training programs.
- Develop competency frameworks, conduct skills gap analyses, and create learning roadmaps aligned to business needs.
- Support organizational change efforts (e.g., restructuring, cultural transformation, process redesign).
2. Talent Development, Leadership Programs & Internship Management
- Drive leadership capability development through structured programs, coaching frameworks, and succession planning.
- Lead the company's internship program and collaborate with educational institutions.
- Support employer branding through academic award sponsorships and external partnerships.
3. Training Systems & Operational Excellence
- Manage and maintain an effective training management system for new hires and existing employees.
- Partner with Operations Trainers and IT to enhance the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date training records, facilities, and equipment.
4. Governance, Compliance & Program Administration
- Maintain L&D policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Oversee training-related audits including Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.
- Manage sponsorships, study bonds, and all L&D-related budgets and expenditures.
5. Stakeholder Management, Employee Experience & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver L&D and HR initiatives effectively.
- Manage external vendors such as company bus service providers.
- Track and report training KPIs, dashboards, and statistical insights.
- Design and support onboarding, engagement, and internal communication initiatives to improve employee experience.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, with at least a Diploma in Human Resource Development or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Training & Development or Learning & Development.
- Strong standup training delivery skills with confidence in conducting classroom and virtual training.
- Solid understanding of L&D frameworks, competency models, and training methodologies.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA), skills gap assessments, and training evaluations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple programs, budgets, and timelines independently.
- This is an Individual Contributor role, requiring the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
