Job Description:
1. Responsible for Group Company Maritime Education Technical Committee (N-MEC) & Maritime College Program (NMC) operation
a. Operate N-MEC & NMC related matter
b. Assist Japanese Maritime Human Resource training related matter
c. Prepare for annual NMC training budget and report
d. Monitor the NMC training budget
e. Manage Training Centre fixed assets
f. Other N-MEC & NMC operation matter under General Manager's instruction
2. Responsible for teaching the following training courses
a. LNG training courses (Engineering part)
b. Steam turbine training courses
c. Other common & engine training courses when required
3. Responsible for NMC common & engineering studies
a. NMC training quality
b. Maintenance of equipment
c. Learning management System/Competency Management System development, operation, and maintenance
d. Supporting the development of new training courses in Local Training Centres
e. Accountable cadet training
4. Responsible for all other training matter for common & engineering studies under General Manager's instruction.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certificate in Engineering.
2. Qualification of First Grade Maritime Officer (Engineering) or higher.
3. Good command of written Japanese is essential for preparation of report in Japanese.
4. Minimum sailing experience as 1st Asist. Engineer and/or Gas Engineer with experience of LNG cargo, steam plant such as turbine and boiler and cryogenic equipment handling and dry dock as 1st Asist. Engineer and/or Gas Engineer on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carrier.
5. Preferably Certified with Train the Trainer Certificate.
6. Good knowledge of Company's Safety Management System.
7. Good computer literate and proficient in MS office application and good knowledge and handling skill of engine plant and cargo system equipment.
