Job Description

Role Overview

The Training & Improvement Executive will play a key role in enhancing organisational competencies by developing, delivering, and improving training programs across various classes of vehicles.

The role involves updating of training curriculum, preparation of course materials, developing of instructor's training aids and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in adult learning, workplace learning methodologies, and is comfortable engaging large group of driving instructors.

The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives related to driving, circuit operations, lesson content, instructor performance standards, and learner's learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Design & Development

  • Continuously develop competency-based training curricula, lesson plans, training materials, teaching aids and assessments aligned with TP test requirements.
  • Validate and update training aids to enhance learning effectiveness, ensuring content is clear, structured, and accessible for diverse learner groups.
  • Develop and introduce new teaching techniques and updated work processes to instructors, ensuring consistent application in daily lessons.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support training deployment.

2. Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Supervise and improve practical and theory lesson delivery, onthejob (OJT) training sessions for driving instructors.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with adult learning principles

3. Assessment & Evaluation

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through course feedback, performance metrics, and post-training application assessments.
  • Recommend improvements based on data insights, feedback trends, and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACTA/ACLP certification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical training, workforce development, or training operations.
  • Experience in transport, automotive training, vocational training or safety-regulated environments is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in creating training materials, conducting OJT, competency assessments
