Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Shipbroker to join their team and develop into a future shipping professional. The role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in chartering, market negotiations, and client relationship management within the dynamic dry bulk sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and conclude chartering deals, preparing full recaps upon fixture.
- Develop new customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Provide market research, updates, and insights to support client decisions.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the dry bulk market is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-oriented mindset.
- Independent, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
