To handle semen analysis, sperm preparation, selection and culture ofoocytes and embryos, freeze/thaw embryos and carry out ICSI and other types ofART procedures when required.
To assist in all other aspects of the IVF laboratory including itsmaintenance, cleanliness, sterility and the indenting, purchasing and keepingstock of consumables and frozen gametes.
To keep abreast with Reproductive technologies and techniques. Thisincludes the reading of journals and participation in conferences, some ofwhich will be sponsored.
To compile and analyse data for all ART relevant statistics.
To maintain and update the quality records according to the MOHguidelines on identification, filing, storage, maintenance and control whereapplicable.
To be able to make important decision regarding daily routine work andtroubleshoot with minimal supervision.
To assist in quality assurance activities of Lab.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Chief Embryologist/Group Scientific Director.
Requirements:
Applicant must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences /Biotechnology or equivalent.
Preferably candidates with a minimum of one (1) years of relatedexperience.
Able to work weekends and public holidays on a rotation basis toaccommodate the IVF treatment cycles.
Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
