Job Description

1. Procurement & Purchase Order (PO) Management (Construction)

  • Source and procure construction materials (cement, steel, tools, PPE) and services based on site requirements
  • Request, compare, and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with site supervisors/engineers on material specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays
  • Handle urgent site purchases when required
  • Verify invoices against PO and Delivery Orders (DO) before submitting for payment
  • Maintain proper procurement records (POs, quotations, invoices)
  • Monitor material usage and support cost control

2. General Admin & Operations Support

  • Maintain filing and documentation (contracts, invoices, HR records)
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and internal tracking (e.g. dormitory, vehicles, manpower)
  • Coordinate dormitory arrangements (room allocation, check-in/out, bed planning)
  • Support vehicle/parking coordination for drivers and site teams
  • Handle email correspondence, payment follow-ups, and supplier communication
  • Assist in any ad-hoc operational or administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction, procurement, or HR/admin role preferred
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Able to multitask and handle fast-paced site requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic documentation
  • Responsible, organized, and able to work independently
