Job Summary
You will perform daily delivery and collection of containers, ensuring timely and safe transport. You will monitor vehicle condition by reporting mechanical issues and obey all traffic laws and company policies to maintain safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect containers daily to meet scheduled logistics operations and ensure timely cargo movement
- Inspect vehicles regularly and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to maintain operational safety
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and compliant transport
- Coordinate with port operations teams to support efficient cargo handling and movement
- Work on weekends and public holidays as required to maintain continuous logistics operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid class 4 driving license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrate at least 1 year of experience as a truck driver to perform safe and efficient vehicle operation
- Possess at least 1 year of experience in port operations to effectively coordinate cargo handling
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays to support operational needs
