Job Summary
Lead coordination and technical preparation for traffic diversion and reinstatement works on MRT projects, ensuring compliance with LTA standards and facilitating approvals to support smooth construction progress.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with consultants and construction teams to manage traffic diversion, drainage diversion, and final reinstatement works effectively
- Obtain LTA approval for traffic diversion stages by preparing and submitting PSR and safety documentation
- Oversee and support site coordination with sub-contractors and LTA term contractors for pre- and post-traffic diversion activities
- Prepare detailed drawings for submission to relevant authorities to secure project approvals
- Conduct traffic impact assessments for new proposals to evaluate and mitigate potential disruptions
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, supporting technical understanding of civil and traffic engineering principles
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing traffic-related works, demonstrating practical expertise in the field
- Strong knowledge of LTA road and traffic standards and guidelines, including SDRE, CDC, and COP, to ensure regulatory compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing technical drawings and plans
- Experience with SIDRA software to analyze traffic flow and impact
