To be involved in a variety of transport planning / traffic engineering projects, including but not limited to master planning, transport modelling, transport impact assessment and/or traffic design.
Lead projects and/or bid proposals through undertaking modelling and analytical studies, presentation to clients or other stakeholders, and writing technical reports as part of project submission and finalization processes.
Undertake assignments on his/her own without day-to-day supervision
Allocate tasks to project team, check and monitor the work of the team
Provide technical and project management advice to other member of staff
Ensure that project work is carried out within agreed timescales and budget
Liaise with clients, professional organisations, contractors and other staff on technical solutions, cost and project programme and delivery requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in civil / transport related subject, numerical subject or equivalent
Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in transport engineering related field
Experience with International and Singapore transport / highway design standards
Experience in Micro-station and/or AutoCAD, experiences in traffic macro / microsimulation and other modelling software, e.g. VISUM / VISSIM / SIDRA etc are preferred.
Experience in project management/ staff supervision
Good written & spoken communication skills in English
