Job Description
- Resolve real‑time trading and production issues, including order exceptions, reconciliation breaks, and incorrect executions
- Build, maintain, and optimize low‑latency trading systems used in live market environments
- Improve execution performance through latency optimization, smart routing, and system stability enhancements
- Integrate market data feeds, broker connectivity, and internal strategy platforms
- Collaborate closely with traders, strategists, and infrastructure teams to support trading operations
- Ensure high standards of reliability, monitoring, and fault tolerance across distributed systems
The Successful Applicant
- Strong background in systems engineering and production‑grade software development
- Solid experience with distributed systems, reliability, and performance‑critical applications
- Proficiency in C++ is required for candidates without prior financial services experience (all interviews conducted in C++)
- For candidates with financial services experience, flexibility across C++, Java, Go, or similar languages
- Experience supporting production systems in real‑time or mission‑critical environments
- Detail‑oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable debugging issues in live systems
