About the role

We are establishing a Commodity Trading talent pipeline and are recruiting up to two graduates to join a specialised one-year Trading Graduate Programme based in Singapore, with the first cohort planned to commence in September 2026.

This programme represents an early and deliberate investment in building long term trading capability for the business. It is designed to develop a strong foundation in trading fundamentals, market analysis, and commercial decision making, while creating a sustainable future talent bench to support the growth of our integrated physical and financial trading operating model.

Graduates will gain hands on exposure to how value is created across the trading value chain, developing the technical skills, commercial acumen, and building the software systems and behaviours required to succeed in a trading environment

  • This is a 12-month structured development programme within a trading environment, combining on the job learning with guided development
  • Exposure across the trading ecosystem, including trade research and analytics, trade execution systems and software, risk management and physical flow execution, to build a holistic understanding of trading activities
  • International placement in New Zealand for a defined period, providing broader business exposure and insight into global trading operations
  • Clear pathway into the wider trading team upon successful completion of the programme.

You'll learn by doingworking alongside experienced trading professionals and partnering with teams across the trading cycle. Through rotations, project work, and daytoday exposure, you will progressively build capability and confidence in a fastpaced commercial environment.

Depending on business needs and rotations, you may:

  • Build market knowledge through data analysis, market insights, and stakeholder engagement to support trading activity
  • Support commercial decisions by translating complex information into clear, practical insights for trading and risk decisions
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand how trading decisions link to broader business outcomes

About You

You have a keen interest in trading, enjoy problemsolving, and bring a collaborative mindset. We'd love to see:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Maths, Financial Engineering, Data / Analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and ambiguity.
  • Clear communication, learning agility, and a one team approach.
  • This programme is open to undergraduates currently studying at a local university in Singapore only.
