We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Broker / Trading Assistant (TA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support shipbrokers in day-to-day operations and deal execution
- Assist in market research, cargo and vessel tracking, and data entry
- Prepare and manage chartering documentation and reports
- Liaise with clients, shipowners, and charterers under supervision
- Learn about freight negotiations, market trends, and operational workflows
- Maintain internal databases and records accurately
Requirements:
- Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, or related field
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Interest in the shipping, trading, or maritime industry
- No prior experience required - training will be provided
