Assist crude trader team in various supportive tasks, ensure the compliance and efficient progress of trading processes, accurately complete trade entry, matching, report compilation, and compliance implementation, and support the orderly operation of trading business.
Job Description :
- Timely and accurately ensure physical trades input to the trading system in accordance with internal policies and approved procedures to ensure the completeness and accuracy of trade data.
- Accurately match physical and derivative trades in the ERP system based on traders instructions to ensure effective linkage between physical positions and derivative positions.
- Prepare trade rationale documents in accordance with HQ requirements, clearly explaining the matching logic and relevant basis of physical and derivative trades in the system.
- Ensure that traders risk exposure and Profit & Loss (P&L) are accurately reflected in daily position reports and P&L reports through precise trade booking and matching operations.
- Assist traders in checking discrepancies or potential issues arising during trade booking, matching and report preparation, follow up on communications as needed, and promote the clarification and resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with month-end close work, perform cut-off controls, data completeness checks and other related operations to ensure the smooth progress of month-end accounting processing.
- Complete month-end rollover operations for unsold or uncovered positions, synchronously update physical and derivative trade information in the system to ensure that position data accurately reflects actual situations, and verify the accuracy of operation results.
- Support monthly reporting by accurately consolidating and reconciling trading system data.
- Coordinate and communicate with system consultants and internal stakeholders to support system enhancements and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting timelines, audit requirements, and all company policies and procedures.
- Assist traders in executing physical oil & gas trades.
- Coordinate with finance teams on invoicing, payment tracking, and settlement status.
- Assist traders in handling claims related to trades and operations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
- Candidate must possess a Degree in related field or equivalent
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
- Fresh graduates may apply
