Job Summary:
Drive regional growth of Engineering Plastics and Polymer business across Asia Pacific through strategic sales, partnerships, and governance excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and marketing activities for Engineering Plastics and Polymers across assigned Asia Pacific markets to achieve sustainable revenue and margin growth.
- Develop and execute market strategies in close alignment with principals to meet short-, mid-, and long-term business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key customers to expand market presence and share of business.
- Identify new business opportunities and support product introductions, including customer presentations and technical engagement for new grades.
- Act as the key liaison between principals, overseas offices, distributors, and end-users to ensure effective coordination and execution.
- Manage pricing alignment and communicate weekly/monthly pricing updates to customers and distributors.
- Support principals in achieving agreed sales budgets in line with established pricing frameworks.
- Coordinate end-user engagement activities, including agents, technical services, marketing, and distribution support.
- Establish and monitor customer credit limits, conduct financial assessments, and ensure effective credit control.
- Oversee outstanding receivables and manage customer complaint resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Conduct half-yearly business reviews with suppliers and distributors against agreed targets and budgets.
- Prepare monthly sales performance reports and management updates.
- Provide timely market intelligence to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and overseas offices to foster a high-performance team culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Engineering Plastics and Polymers is preferred.
- Experience in the trading industry is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a high level of presentation capability required.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across regional and cross-functional teams.
