Trader Intern

Oasis Asia Capital is a family office setup focusing on both Asian / US equities markets and running long/short strategies across various time horizons. Our team has more than 15 years experience in the markets and are committed to a culture of continuous learning.

As a Trader Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with financial markets, learn about various trading strategies. This internship offers you a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced traders and gain valuable insights into the trading industry.

This internship may require flexibility in your work hours. Please note that, on occasion, you may be required to work overnight hours between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM as part of covering the US markets. These instances will be scheduled in advance and communicated to interns.

Job Description

- Keeping up to date with market news / developments and channel market information flow to the team in a timely manner

- Analyzing financial information relating to specific companies / industries by researching, examining financial statements and market data

Skills and Qualifications Requirement

- Strong numerical and analytical skills

- Self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure

- Good at multi-tasking

- Possess strong interest in understanding the global financial markets

- A finance-related degree is preferred but not an absolute requirement

- Some knowledge in using Bloomberg terminal preferred

- Proficiency in excel and coding experience will be preferred (VBA / Python)

- Minimal 6 months full-time internship commitment, preferably with early May 2026 start dates. Do indicate your actual available period from May 2026 - December 2026
