Company Overview
Our client is a leading global financial institution with a strong Global Banking & Markets presence in Singapore. The Operations function partners closely with Sales, Trading, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams to support complex trading activities while maintaining strong risk management and regulatory standards.
We are seeking a Trade Support & Documentation Analyst to support the Commodities business within Global Banking & Markets. This role sits within a fast-paced operations environment and involves managing trade booking exceptions, confirmations, and settlements across the full trade lifecycle.
The position is well-suited for candidates with prior trade support or documentation experience, particularly within commodities or derivatives, who thrive in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Trading, Technology, and Operations teams
Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between Trading and Sales desks
Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to ensure timely economic affirmations, legal confirmations, and trade settlements
Monitor and manage operational risk throughout the trade lifecycle
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk controls
Implement firm-wide policies governing the confirmation process to strengthen fraud prevention controls
Support system enhancements and process improvements driven by regulatory, industry, or new business initiatives
Collaborate with regional and global Operations teams on strategic projects and initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced trading environment
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with sound judgment
Highly collaborative and team-focused with strong stakeholder management skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in trade support or documentation
Experience within Commodities, derivatives, or related markets is an advantage
Understanding of derivatives products and post-trade processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage competing priorities
Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency in issue resolution
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a global team
