Job Description

Function: Regulatory Reporting Markets

Role Overview

We are looking for a Trade Reporting professional on a 12-month contract to support regulatory reporting obligations for OTC derivatives across regional and global regulators. The role partners closely with Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Regulatory Change teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant trade submissions.

This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to regulatory change, reporting controls, and market infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end OTC derivatives trade reporting across applicable regulatory regimes (e.g. MAS, ASIC)
  • Ensure accurate and timely submissions to trade repositories (e.g. DTCC), including lifecycle event reporting
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve reporting breaks, exceptions, and rejections
  • Produce and analyse MI / MIS reporting, highlighting trends, issues, and control gaps
  • Support regulatory change and remediation projects, including new reporting requirements and enhancements
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve reporting and data quality issues
  • Maintain strong controls, documentation, and audit readiness
  • Participate in UAT, requirements gathering, and workflow improvements

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in OTC derivatives trade reporting or regulatory reporting
  • Working knowledge of trade reporting regulations (e.g. MAS, ASIC; other regimes an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of OTC derivatives products and trade lifecycle events
  • Hands-on experience with trade repository platforms (e.g. DTCC or equivalent)
  • Experience in MI / MIS reporting and data analysis
  • Exposure to regulatory or OTC-related projects, including change or remediation initiatives
  • Good understanding of financial markets infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Alteryx and Power BI
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar tracking tools
  • Working knowledge of reporting formats (e.g. XML, ISO standards)
  • Experience with requirements management and workflow tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
