Trade Operations Executive (Oil Trading)

A reputable energy trading company in Singapore is seeking a Trade Operations Executive to join their dynamic operations team. This desk handles an active portfolio of physical crude oil and refined products, offering a solid platform for a skilled professional to manage end-to-end post-trade and operational workflows.

The Position:

In this role, you will oversee the physical trade lifecycle from deal execution through to final settlement. Your day-to-day will involve managing the post-trade settlement lifecycle, generating commercial invoices and coordinating with treasury and external counterparties for timely payment.

Alongside settlements, you will execute broader trade operations duties such as coordinating shipping logistics and tracking cargo movements. You will also reconcile operational figures with internal trade capture systems and collaborate with traders, risk and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

Skills & Experience:

You will have 2 to 4 years of trade operations or settlements experience within physical oil trading or a recognised commodity trading house. You will have a good working knowledge of shipping documentation, payment processes and ETRM systems, combined with strong analytical skills and the resilience to thrive in a busy, fast-paced commercial setting.
