Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholder inquiries, maintaining clear communication with clients, traders, and counterparties.
Oversee full cargo lifecycles, including inventory management, documentation (Letters of Credit, shipping documents), and coordination with ports, terminals, and inspectors.
Ensure strict compliance with all international shipping regulations and company procedures for truck, rail, and maritime transport.
Analyze and reconcile product movement data, manage month-end inventory reporting, and support loss control investigations.
Optimize trader strategies by leveraging market knowledge and external relationships to resolve logistical challenges.
Provide coverage for team members and participate in resolving operational disputes as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on operations experience within a physical commodities trading firm.
Comprehensive knowledge of dry bulk or metals supply chains, including product specifications, storage, and inspection protocols.
Expertise in multi-modal transport logistics (maritime, rail, truck), regulatory compliance, and cargo insurance.
A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently.
Strong collaborative skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Professional proficiency in English the ability to understand Mandarin is required for liaising with associates.
