Trade Manager

Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the Manager in overseeing pricing and commercial activities for the assigned trade, driving profitability by balancing optimised loadings with maximum revenue. You will be commercially astute, able to identify new business opportunities, and proactively generate sales leads where possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pricing and contribution analysis for designated countries and services to support profitability and growth.
• Monitor and analyse agents performance against allocations to ensure optimal loadings.
• Act as the primary contact for selected key accounts, including customer visits, rate negotiation, service promotion, and ongoing support.
• Prepare reports, market studies, and competitor analyses, and perform other tasks as required by Management.
• Undertake occasional travel to designated countries.
• Support any other ad hoc projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or higher, preferably in Shipping, Logistics Management, or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the shipping industry
• Solid experience in pricing management or related activities at a regional or principal level within the shipping industry
