Our client is a leading global financial institution with a strong presence across investment banking, markets, and asset management. They are seeking a Trade Lifecycle Operations Analyst to support their Markets Operations function.
This role focuses on trade processing, confirmations, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management across the trade lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Trading, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and regional Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of post-trade activities.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Trading, Technology, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution of complex trade-related issues
Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between Trading and Sales desks
Coordinate with external clients and internal teams on Economic Affirmations, Legal Confirmations, and Trade Settlements
Monitor operational risk throughout the trade processing lifecycle and escalate issues where appropriate
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal risk management protocols, and industry market practices
Implement firm policies governing the confirmation process to strengthen global fraud prevention controls
Support system and process enhancements to accommodate regulatory, industry, and new business initiatives
Collaborate with regional and global Operations teams on strategic projects and process improvements
Relevant experience in trade operations, confirmations, settlements, or markets operations within a financial institution
Understanding of trade lifecycle processes, booking flows, and post-trade controls
Familiarity with financial regulatory requirements and operational risk frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
