Job Description

Job Purpose & Objectives

  • Working in Singapore Operations which cover Trade Finance, Loans, Guarantees and to a small extent Remittances.

Key Responsibilities

  • To monitor and control customer trade and loan transaction documentation review and minimize the error rate
  • To review and manage bank's credit facility required documentation
  • To review and control customer loan documentation and escalate any non-compliance case
  • To review and control the credit facility and limit usage
  • To monitor end-to-end work flow to ensure all transactions are promptly processed to maintain the high service quality
  • To monitor and control the bank and regulatory policy/ regulations are properly complied with
  • To monitor and control the implementation of international and domestic anti-money laundering checks
  • To prepare local regulatory reports; internal and other ad hoc reports
  • To scan/ email Trade Finance documents
  • Processing of trade finance loans, Letter of Credit, Guarantees
  • Arrange funding for loan drawdown and rollover
  • Check the setup / create customer record in Midas and input authorized signatories/ directors/ beneficiary owners where necessary.
  • Download of Swift AMH messages
  • Follow-up unreconciled Nostro items with counterparties
  • Review of Midas systems transactions and reconciliations

Qualification & Experience

  • 6 – 8 years hands-on experience in Trade Finance & Loan Administration or Guarantees
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Banking/ Business Administration / International Trade / Finance or similar

Knowledge & Skills

  • UCP600 & ISBP knowledge required.
  • Able to handle full set of Import/Export documents including LC and all related document checking, financing, discounting, advising, collection, SBLC, etc
  • Good knowledge and familiar with Singapore banking regulations, reporting system and banking practices
  • PC skills – words & excel skills are essential

Language

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to converse in Mandarin preferred.
