Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Documentation Officer to support our international trade operations. You will be the key point of contact for trade fulfillment, ensuring all shipping and export documents are processed accurately and efficiently to meet global trade requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process complete sets of import/export shipping documents, including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, and Certificate of Origin, to ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Coordinate shipment schedules and documentation with internal sales teams, customers, and freight forwarders to achieve timely delivery
- Manage Letter of Credit (LC) negotiations and verify compliance with Incoterms to facilitate smooth financial transactions
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for trade contracts and transaction records to support audit and operational needs
- Monitor shipment status continuously and resolve logistics discrepancies promptly to minimize delays and disruptions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in trade documentation, shipping, or freight forwarding
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and Incoterms
- Ability to communicate effectively with external partners to facilitate trade processes
- Strong attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines
