Maintain an organized and efficient import and export compliance operation that strives to achieve trade compliance.
Communicates with the relevant government authorities as the first point of contact Continuously supports improvement of the processes related to export controls, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Major Exporter Scheme(MES), Export Control Numbers, global Country of Origin (COO) Management program, global valuation policy and process.
Possess good understanding of C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) regulations, standards, and compliance requirements, support the Singapore facility in sustaining C-TPAT certification
Supports management of day-to-day compliance issues inall regions
Supports, implements, and conducts trade compliance assessment, ensuring corrective action processes are addressed according to applicable regulations.
Drive audit readiness and ongoing improvement across compliance operations.
Ensure operations comply with both local and international trade laws and regulations.
Coordinate with in-country teams to collectcompliance-related data and improve decision-making.
Analyse trade activities to identify risk areas andopportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement compliance solutions embedded in business operations.
Champion the development and execution of globally integrated trade compliance programs
Requirements:
Degree in Logistics / International Trade or equivalent
5years of relevant working experience

Strong experience in customs & trade compliance, with a focus on Singapore local trade operations (familiar with processes of Singapore Customs, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), and other local regulatory authorities).
Proven experience in managing end-to-endimport/export compliance, including customs declaration, export controlscreening, and sanction compliance.
Proven trackrecord of independently conducting compliance audits, managing regulatoryinspections, or resolving customs disputes
In-depth understanding of Singapore'strade-related regulations: Customs Act, Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act,Export Control Regulations, and sanctions requirements (e.g., UN, EU, US, andSingapore local sanctions lists).
Proficiency in trade compliance tools and systems: SAP GTS (Global Trade Services), ERP systems, or Singapore local customs declaration platforms (e.g., TradeNet).
Strong knowledge of international trade frameworks: Incoterms, FTA (Free Trade Agreement) utilization (e.g., ASEAN FTA, Singapore-China FTA), and supply chain security standards (e.g., C-TPAT).
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to interpret compliance data and identify potential risks.
