Key Responsibilities

• Act as Trade and Regulatory Compliance Counsel for South Korea, advising on a broad range of trade compliance matters including customs and import compliance, free trade agreements, duty planning, and sanctions
• Partner closely with regional regulatory colleagues to analyse and respond strategically to regulatory inquiries and investigations, with a view to mitigating enforcement and compliance risk
• Conduct regulatory and trade compliance scans relating to South Korea and assess potential impacts on business initiatives and ongoing operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in trade compliance, ideally gained within a consulting or advisory environment, with a strong focus on South Korea
• Hands‑on experience responding to inquiries and investigations by the Korea Customs Service
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice to business stakeholders
