Responsibilities:

• To track global crude oil markets, including price movements, premiums, spreads, and key market indicators to identify trading opportunities.
• To assess factors affecting crude oil prices and premiums such as production levels, geopolitical risks, market speculation, and transportation logistics.
• To analyze and project global and regional crude oil demand based on economic growth, transportation trends, industrial usage, and government policies.
• To evaluate supply aspects including production capacity, strategic reserves, and OPEC decisions etc.
• To provide insights into how supply-demand interactions influence crude oil pricing and trading strategies.
• To compile daily, weekly, and monthly market reports, maintain and update databases, and develop analytical models and tools to aid trading decisions.

Requirements:

• Possess Degree in Business Analyst, International Trading, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in trading, market analysis, or a related role within the oil and gas industry
• Proficiency in trading platforms, data analysis tools, MS office, Word, and Excel
• Effectively bilingual in Chinese & English due to reporting to China Head Office & colleagues
• Only Singaporeans
