Safely operate the Tower Crane in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations 2011.
Work closely with the signal team to ensure full compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the WSH (Construction) Regulations and WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations, during daily lifting operations.
Assess ground conditions from height to confirm suitability for lifting operations and promptly report findings to the Lifting Supervisor.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of the crane as per the manufacturer's manual to ensure safe functionality and report any defects or malfunctions.
Immediately stop work or notify the Supervisor if any unsafe conditions or deviations are identified.
Operate the crane strictly in line with clear instructions from a signalman.
Uphold and promote safe work practices at all times.
Skills & Requirements:
Certificate in Tower Crane Operation.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Tower Crane Operator.
Successfully completed the Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course.
Licensed and registered Tower Crane Operator with MOM.
Physically fit with strong reflexes, capable of climbing towers.
