Job Summary:
A detail-oriented operations professional to coordinate tours, manage schedules, and ensure seamless travel experiences across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign tour guides from an established pool based on tour requirements
- Arrange drivers and rental vehicles to support tour operations
- Plan tour schedules and negotiate pricing with relevant vendors
- Liaise with Japan-based sales teams in English to align operational requirements
- Communicate with guides, internal teams, and overseas counterparts in Malaysia
- Provide on-call phone support and resolve ad-hoc issues during ongoing tours
- Verify guides invoices and accurately input data into internal systems
- Coordinate with airlines and guides to manage last-minute schedule or itinerary changes
- Support additional operational and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (Polytechnic) or higher qualification
- Proficiency in English for liaising with overseas sales teams, guides, and operational stakeholders
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
- Demonstrated capability to handle ad-hoc operational matters with flexibility and responsiveness
- Strong hospitality mindset to manage and resolve issues between customers and guides when required
