Job Summary
Perform repair and servicing of molds, modify tooling and defects, operate conventional machines, fabricate inserts within blueprint tolerances, and conduct bench fitting and correction repairs of new tools.
Responsibilities
- Repair and service molds to maintain optimal functionality and quality
- Modify tooling and address defects to ensure production standards
- Operate conventional machines including grinding, turning, milling, and EDM to support tooling fabrication
- Fabricate inserts according to blueprint tolerances to meet design specifications
- Perform bench fitting and correction repairs on new tools to ensure readiness for production
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or NITEC in Engineering discipline or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience in plastic injection molding environment
- Ability to use grinding, turning, milling, and EDM machines to support tooling and mold operations
- 5.5-day work week (Mon to Fri, 8.15am to5.10pm, Alternate Sat 8.15am to 12.45pm)
