SmartStream Developer

Role Overview

The SmartStream Developer will implement and configure SmartStream reconciliation solutions, including rules engine configuration, data feeds, workflows, and exception management.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure SmartStream reconciliation rules and matching logic
• Develop and implement reconciliation workflows and exception handling
• Configure reconciliation across:

• Trade

  Position

  Cash

  Finance / GL

• Build and integrate data feeds from trading systems, custodians, and accounting systems
• Perform SmartStream configuration, scripting, and customization
• Support instance consolidation and data migration activities
• Assist in troubleshooting reconciliation breaks and system issues
• Work with BAs and SMEs to translate reconciliation requirements into technical configurations
• Participate in SIT and UAT defect resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years experience in SmartStream TLM development
• Strong knowledge of:

• SmartStream reconciliation configuration

  Rules engine

  Workflow configuration

  Break management

• Experience with SQL and database queries
• Knowledge of financial markets products and trade lifecycle
• Experience integrating feeds from:

• Trading platforms

  Accounting systems

  Custodian platforms

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
