Responsibilities
. SME-level expertise in Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
. Strong hands-on experience with TWS v9.x & v10.x
. Execute EOS upgrades across multiple platforms
. Manage full TWS infrastructure:
o Production issues
o Troubleshooting
o Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
o Permanent & temporary fixes
. Install, customize, enhance & integrate IBM TWS with:
o Linux / AIX / Wintel
o Cloud platforms
o OpenShift
. Day-to-day administration:
o TWS upgrades
o Patching & hardening
o Vulnerability fixes
o User issue resolution
. Ensure high availability, stability & performance
. Participate in 247 rotational on-call support
. Automate operational & monitoring tasks via scripting
. Troubleshoot scheduling options (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, Java/Oracle jobs, resource/dynamic pools, remote jobs)
. Develop automation tools & workflow enhancements
. Perform Linux/UNIX administration
. Work with DevOps tools:
o GIT / GitHub
o Jenkins
o Puppet
o Docker
o Kubernetes
. Advantage: Experience supporting TWS on OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes
Mandatory Skills
. 8-10 years of experience as a TWS Administrator
. Strong Linux/AIX/Wintel background
. Hands on scripting: Perl, Python, Shell
. Strong troubleshooting, RCA & automation capability
. Experience managing enterprise scale TWS environments
Good to Have Skills
. Prior banking/regulated industry experience
. Strong automation mindset (DevOps focus)
. Exposure to containerized scheduling environments
