Roles & Responsibilities

- Cut and shape tiles accurately to fit around obstacles, tight corners, and irregular spaces using both power and hand tools.

- Create tile beds using materials such as concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue, or mortar, utilizing tools like screeds, brushes, and trowels.

- Align and straighten tiles with the help of straightedges, levels, and squares to ensure even and precise patterns.

- Cut, install, polish, and finish granite and marble, ensuring accuracy during the installation process for durable results.

- Prepare various surfaces for tiling by applying waterproofing materials or lath and thoroughly cleaning the surfaces.

- design decorative wall and floor patterns by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.

- Carefully tap tiles into place with appropriate tools to ensure proper adhesion to the base while avoiding breakage or damage.

- Follow blueprints closely and accurately mark and measure surfaces that need tiling to determine the correct approach for each job.
