TILER

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled according to plans and specifications
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment where needed
• Cut tiles to size and shape using hand tools and power tools
• Lay tiles in accordance with design patterns and layouts
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants properly
• Ensure alignment, spacing, and overall finish meet quality standards
• Repair and replace damaged tiles when required
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Work closely with supervisors, contractors, and other trades

Requirements

• Proven experience as a tiler or similar role
• Knowledge of different tile materials (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.)
• Ability to use tiling tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Good understanding of surface preparation and waterproofing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Physical stamina and ability to handle manual work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
