Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining floor and wall tiles for residential, commercial, and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing where required
- Cut tiles to size and shape using hand and power tools
- Lay tiles evenly using adhesives, grout, and spacers
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and finishing
- Replace broken or damaged tiles when necessary
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades when needed
Requirements:
- Ability to read drawings and layout plans
- Skilled in tile cutting, leveling and grouting techniques
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Attention to detail and good workmanship
- Knowledge of different tile materials
