My client is looking for a Third-Party Risk & Compliance Specialist to join their regional risk governance team. This role will be responsible for strengthening the third-party and outsourcing risk management framework across the APAC region, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with global standards. You will play a key role in enhancing governance processes, conducting risk assessments, and providing advisory support to stakeholders on outsourcing and vendor risk matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the regional third-party and outsourcing governance framework in alignment with global policies and regulatory expectations.
- Act as the main contact for outsourcing matters, maintaining oversight of registers, documentation, and compliance reporting.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on third-party engagements to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Continuously review and enhance third-party risk management processes to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Atleast 7 years experience in vendor/third party risk in financial sector.
- Strong understanding of MAS outsourcing and technology risk regulations with practical governance application.
- Proven expertise in vendor risk assessment, contract governance, and compliance oversight.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with regional collaboration experience.
