Design, develop, and optimize active thermal control systems, including pumped fluid loops, cold plates, and heat exchangers, to meet performance and reliability requirements.
Perform thermal and flow analysis using SolidWorks Flow Simulation and SolidWorks Simulation to validate designs and support product development.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of thermal systems, including the use of thermal sensors, heaters, TECs, and thermal interface materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define thermal requirements, interpret basic control logic, and ensure manufacturability through precision fabrication or additive manufacturing methods.
Troubleshoot thermal performance issues and drive continuous improvement for applications in semiconductor, space, defence, or other high-precision engineering environments.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical / Thermal Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years experience in active thermal control systems (pumped fluid loops, cold plates, heat exchangers).
Proficiency in SolidWorks Flow Simulation + SolidWorks Simulation.
Able to interpret and specify basic control logic (no full coding required, but scripting in Python/MATLAB is a plus).
Knowledge of thermal test platforms, thermal sensors, heaters, TEC, thermal interface materials (TIM).
Knowledge of space/defence/semiconductor thermal requirements.
Knowledge within the semiconductor testing solution will be highly preferred.
Familiar with fluid selection (dielectric coolants, glycols, PFAS-free alternatives).
Familiar with precision fabrication such as CNC Milling & lathe machining.
Experience with SINDA/FLUINT or GT-SUITE would be a plus point.
Knowledge of prototyping using precision fabrication and/or additive manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in SolidWorks will be a must.
Eligibility to work and relocate in Singapore will be a plus.
