This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to build a career at the intersection of data and finance. As a Data Analyst at Pluang's Singapore office, you will work alongside experienced analysts to support data-driven decisions across our investment platform. You will learn how to turn large datasets into insights that matter, helping product, marketing, finance, and engineering teams understand user behaviour and improve outcomes for millions of users on GoInvestasi, Dana eMAS, and BukaEmas.
You will be mentored by senior team members and grow into increasing ownership over time. We are looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and excited to learn in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Write SQL queries to extract and explore data from our BigQuery data warehouse, supporting day-to-day analytical requests from business teams.
Clean, validate, and organise datasets to ensure accuracy before analysis, catching discrepancies and flagging issues to senior analysts.
Assist in building and maintaining dashboards that track key product and business metrics, giving stakeholders reliable visibility into performance.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to surface trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behaviour across Pluang's investment products.
Support the design and monitoring of A/B experiments, helping to set up tracking, pull results, and summarise findings under the guidance of a senior analyst.
Produce clear, well-structured reports and present your findings to team members and business stakeholders in plain, accessible language.
Learn and progressively contribute to our dbt-managed data models and pipelines as you grow into the role.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and finance teams to understand their data needs and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Working knowledge of SQL. You should be comfortable writing queries to filter, join, and aggregate data.
Familiarity with at least one data visualisation tool such as Tableau, Looker Studio, Metabase, or Power BI, even if only through coursework or an internship.
Foundational understanding of statistics including distributions, summary statistics, and the basic logic of hypothesis testing.
Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work before sharing it.
Good written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable presenting your findings to team members and explaining what the data shows and why it matters.
Genuine curiosity about data and a willingness to ask questions and learn on the job.
Familiarity with Python (pandas, numpy) or R for data manipulation and analysis. Coursework or personal projects count.
Any exposure to BigQuery or GCP.
Familiarity with dbt or the concept of data modelling.
Experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Clevertap, or Firebase.
Interest in investment products, fintech, or financial markets.
Prior internship or project experience working with real-world datasets.
